The reason for this session was a visit of my dear friend Wiola, former of Aspire Equestrian Riding Academy. From January 2013 to June 2013 I was taking care of 11 horses at private stud in Poland, so I showed Wiola most of horses I was working with. The mare on the picture and video is just an example of what I am very aware of- correct training in hand, before I will seat on the horse to train it. Working in hand helps the horse to balance himself without any additional weight on his back; we allow the horse to build up the muscles- horse is prepared physically to do his job from the saddle later. Also, he is going to be much more familiar with aids- he will know basic straightness exercises, so the learning process from the saddle will be much easier for him to understand.
